Cheap AIR Jordan 11 Shoes
The Air Jordan 11 was supposedly Michael Jordan’s favorite Air Jordan sneaker back in the day, which says a lot about the shoe’s greatness, because Jordan wore some of the most iconic sneakers in history during his basketball career. Designed by Tinker Hatfield, the Jordan 11 was Jordan’s signature shoe the year the Chicago Bulls won a then-NBA-record 72 wins during the 1995-96 NBA season. It was on his feet the night the Bulls won the ‘96 NBA Championship, and when he won MVP honors at the ‘96 NBA All-Star Game, too. It was also worn by Jordan in “Space Jam.” More recently, the Air Jordan 11 has become the centerpiece of Jordan Brand’s annual Holiday release cycle, a testament to the shoe’s lasting legacy.
The Jordan 11 was released in 1996 by Nike. Like the Air Jordans before it, the model was featured in several Bulls-friendly colorways, including the “Concord” and “Bred,” along with the “UNC” inspired “Columbia” style. Jordan wore all three versions of the shoe in the NBA, including the “Columbia,” which he wore at the ‘96 All-Star Game. The Jordan 11 also debuted in an alternate low-top silhouette called the Air Jordan 11 Low IE, a modified version that Jordan rocked in the ‘96 Playoffs. Jordan also wore other, non-original colorways of the Air Jordan 11, like the “Cool Grey” while a member of the Washington Wizards, and the “Space Jam” while in the movie of the same name.
The Jordan 11 remains one of the most desirable sneakers in the world decades after it debuted in “Space Jam,” and later in the NBA on Jordan’s feet. Its releases still garner serious hype in the sneaker community, just like the “Cool Grey” Jordan 11 did back in 2001. Jordan Brand is selective with how many Jordan 11s it releases, but makes the shoe the focal point of its holiday season every year.
The Jordan 11 redefined on-court style with shining luxury back in the day, and its luster has yet to dull. Shop all your favorite Jordan 11s at Stadium Goods.
