The Air Jordan 1 is one of the most influential and memorable models in the history of sneakers. Transcending the game, Michael Jordan laced up his first signature shoe back in 1985 and took over basketball and sneaker culture. Designed by Peter Moore, the AJ1 features both a Swoosh and Wings logo, along with Nike Air for cushioning. Original colorways have all become classics, including the Chicago, Shadow, Royal, Bred and Black Toe releases. First brought back in 1994 and then again in 2001, the AJ1 Retro has continued its legacy of new iterations, including the upcoming Marvel x AJ 1 High ‘Next Chapter,’ AJ 1 High ‘Vibrations of Naija’ and AJ 1 High ‘Washed Black’ launches.
